They are raw and minimal in design, with spacious and bright interiors, lined with edgy street art that you would expect to find in a New York-style warehouse.
Jaye has cemented his spot at the forefront of the industry, with work regularly featured on the pages of Harpers Bazaar, Marie Claire and Vogue, and an internationally recognised team educators behind him.
Dane Wakefield has over 11 years experience within the hair industry, which has allowed him to develop and grow into an incredible artist He has a keen eye and a strong attention to detail – two qualities that have helped evolve him into quite the connoisseur when it comes to creating the perfect blonde look. His expertise and creative flair not only colour but styling too have enabled him to take his talents to behind-the-scenes at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, working with some of the best designers in the country.

Brendon joins our team with 10 years industry experience, working for some of Australia’s best salons along side global industry leaders, which has help build skills as an industry leader himself. Specialising in styling, cutting and extensions, Brendon has worked at MBFWA and also as an assistant on various magazine editorial shoots. Brendon is inspired by creating looks for each individual, specifically tailored to their exact needs always with a kind and honest approach.
Nicolas (Niko) originally hailing from Colombia, South America made the move to Australia to further grow within the industry. His passion for hair was evident from an early age, beginning his apprenticeship straight after completing high school. He grasps inspiration from all forms of media and loves researching international trends to blend with his love for creating seamless, natural colour work – making him truly unique.
Niko has assisted back stage a Melbourne Fashion Week and was a finalist for apprentice of the year in 2017. His creativity and drive has allowed him to excel beyond expectations in all fields, which is evident in his large and loyal client base. Niko is certainly an up and comer to watch out for!
Alison entered the hairdressing industry 12 years ago in Toronto, Canada – beginning her training at the Aveda Academy. Her career highlights are having the opportunity to work across the world (Toronto, London & Sydney) before joining the Edwards And Co team! She enjoys working with people, making them feel great and being creative everyday. Alison’s favourite looks to create in salon are natural looking blondes and sandy/caramel balayage’s with a face framing POP.
Rukaya has had a passion for hair from a young age and sort out EdwardsAndCo as THE place to kick start her career. With love for colour and styling, she has proved herself as an emerging team member to watch.
Rukaya is all about creating big luxurious waves and textured, effortless hair, showing versatility in her styling. Having a Lebanese background, Rukaya is passionate about colouring darker hair, creating decadent and rich brunettes. She also loves creating lived in, relaxed blondes.
Hailing from the Northern New South Wales beaches of Nambucca Heads, Michael Kelly has always had a passion for beauty, even at a young age. A natural born desire to work in an industry where he could be authentic and expressive culminated in his move to Sydney to commence what would become an unparalleled career.

Travelling to London in 2015, Michael became a Colour Director and Press ‘go-to’ for the revered Taylor Taylor London salon group. Boasting a client list including Fashion and Beauty Editors, Journalists, Models, Actors, TV Presenters and Fashion Designers, Michael quickly established a reputation as one of London’s ‘most sought after Colourists’ attracting clients from all over Europe, America and the Middle East.

Britt is a senior stylist at our Kippax Street location with 12 years’ experience. She has always loved working within companies that push her creatively and to think outside the box – which is why she has done so well at EdwardsAndCo! Britt’s passion for working on photoshoots has led her to enter competitions at Hair Expo and American Crew.
When working with clients, Britt will always take into account her clients natural features and lifestyle in order to create a new look with products they will love. She also specialises in blondes and extensions and loves showing clients how to style their hair at home.
Panaiya is a senior emerging stylist at EdwardsAndCo. She came to EdwardsAndCo in her second year of her apprenticeship and has since been an employee for almost four years. She has been taking her inspiration from outside influences including the ocean and very free spirited lifestyles, thus including real contrast colours, future proof hair and corrective work. She loves both creating shapes and illusions with colour work and cutting!
Gemma is a third-year apprentice at our Kippax Street location. She grew up in Camden and has recently moved to Wollongong, meaning she travels 3.5 hours to work daily as she believes it is totally worth it! Gemma is currently completing her training at that Kippax Street Salon, where she loves creating beachy and textural waves. A quote that has stuck with her is “everything happens for a reason” hence why it is so important to remember that everything that happens in your life is for a purpose.
Phoebe is an apprentice stylist at our Kippax Street Location. She was born in Singapore and moved to Australia in 2013 to complete high school. Phoebe started as a first year in November 2019 and has been completing her training at EdwardsAndCo. Phoebe loves creating braided styles, stemming from her passion for braiding her friend’s hair during school. Phoebe lives by the motto “there is never a situation that doesn’t benefit from having empathy and kindness”.
Ashlee is a Junior Emerging Stylist at our Kippax Street Salon. She has always had a huge passion for the hair industry which led her to begin her hairdressing career after living in England and travelling Europe for 18 months. Ashlee completed her first year at Allure Hair Bar at Terrigal Beach, Central Coast. She loves styling hair and enjoys taking on a challenge to recreate styles that inspired her. Ashlee loves to dive right into the deep end with a go-getter attitude and is always listening and observing in order to build her creative skill set.
Dylan is a second year apprentice working as a Junior Emerging Stylist at our Kippax Street Salon. He has trained for a year at Barney Matrin Hair and used to work in the film and television industry for three years doing makeup and styling. He has also assisted on the cover of Prevention Magazine and shot a cover for the Daily Telegraph for Vera Wang. He loves creative, big hair, anything from big bouncy curls to waves, and especially loves to create stunning colour transformations.
