COLOUR’S WE LOVE: #TRENDING

Are you ready for a new look? With Summer around the corner why not try a little colour change for your locks and experiment with some pink, blue, copper or pastel hues. These colours have gotten the big tick of approval from some of our favourite superstar celebrities like Kendall Jenner, Bella Hadid and Rita Ora so why not try it for yourself! Whether you want to opt for a subtle approach like a dip dye, highlights or go all out for the real deal, this is the perfect way to try something a ‘lil more fun for the sunnier months.

We’re loving this look on some of our local babes who have opted for a hair change. Mel Tan of Joy Hysteric has rocked pink, blue, green and grey (to name a few) as well as Alana Pallister of Tigermist bouncing between platinum blonde & pink locks.

How stunning is this pop of pink for Alana? Created by Melvin Lane from our Melbourne Salon.

Want a few pointers for how to look after and maintain your colour? Amanda from our Alexandria Salon gave us a couple of her hot tips:

  1. The EVO Fabuloso Pro is a must. It’s a reparative conditioner base that conditions, revives, adds shine plus maintains and tones your colour! Magic in a bottle. The even more amazing thing about the Fab Pro is that the colour of the conditioner can be custom made to suit your shade. With all colours, they will of course naturally fade so this product is perfect for topping up your colour at home when you need a refresh in-between appointments.
  2. Violets or blue tones work beautifully with a brunette base. This is because it will fade the best and without a brassy tone compared to a warmer colour, however the lighter your hair the more options available for you of course – so if you’re a blonde you do get to have a little more fun when it comes to a bright colour change! Opt for a pink or copper to really bring out the colour in your blonde locks.
  3. Blue is #trending right now. There are some serious mermaid vibes happening this season and we are definitely digging it. We have seen a wave of requests for silvery blue, turquoise and bold blue hues – a great diverse colour that suits both lighter and darker locks!
