MAINTAINING YOUR COLOUR ON TOUR: OWL EYES

On tour with Owl Eyes.

When you’re on the road touring and constantly on stage in front of thousands and thousands of people, it’s important to make sure your hair is looking its best.

The hard part? Finding the time amongst all the chaos! So we sat down for a little Q&A with the beautiful Owl Eyes to find out how she maintains her lush locks whilst on the road and what her must-have products are.

Products you use to maintain your colour whilst on tour?
I love Christophe Robin – Baby Blonde, it’s so beautiful and it doesn’t dry out my hair.

– Is there a Shampoo/Conditioner or Treatment you swear by?
When I’m not being lazy I like to sleep in Olaplex! It’s a must.

– What are your hair tips for travelling?
Hm probably a good dry shampoo for sure but also a good oil. I feel like when I’m travelling
i’m always pushed for time so I use hairdryers more often than if I were at home. I love the
Oribe Gold Lust Nourishing Oil it is great and doesn’t spill in my luggage which is actually a
factor I look for in packaging.

– How does your hair react to all your travelling, are there particular products you use based on weather or location etc?
My hair like most peoples freaks out a bit in humidity so when touring places like Indonesia I
just pack everything and hope for the best! I think the last time I was there I used an Anti-Humidity Spray and it helped.

– How often do you get your hair done?
I get it done less now, maybe once every few months. I used to have very blonde hair and
travelling trying to maintain that was really hard. So now I work with my natural colour and
just add highlights and balayage. It feels more natural and has really helped the condition of
my hair. I also think that wearing the colour in for longer makes my hair sit better when air
drying.

– What is your go-to styling for on stage?
I like a natural look and work with what ever is going on. It’s lucky for me because I am
really bad at styling my hair, ha! If I am having my hair styled by someone I will usually just
ask for a natural chic wave.
