Pioneering the EdwardsAndCo movement is Sydney Colourist and Educator, Jaye Edwards. Known for his golden blondes and seamless blends, Jaye brings a modern and new-age energy to the industry.
Each of Jaye’s eight salons house Australia’s most innovative, fashion forward hair stylists, makeup artists and beauty experts. Famous for creamy blondes, caramel tips and rich brunettes, all rolled into glossy mermaid waves, Jaye and his team have developed a signature look that is synonymous with the EdwardsAndCo brand, garnering an impressive following of beauty editors, social media influencers, actresses and models.
Equally as impressive are the salons themselves. Jaye has created instantly recognisable spaces that speak to a generation of creatives and inspire his clients. They are raw and minimal in design, with spacious and bright interiors, lined with edgy street art that you would expect to find in a New York-style warehouse.
Jaye has cemented his spot at the forefront of the industry, with work regularly featured on the pages of Harpers Bazaar, Marie Claire and Vogue, and an internationally recognised team educators behind him.

I’m Charmayne and I have been in the hairdressing industry now for 10 years and a colour specialist for 6 of those years. I am new to the Edwards and Co family and am a Master Colourist at the Fortitude Valley location. Over the years I have worked on various hair shows, competitions, campaigns and creative photographic collections, but My biggest career highlight so far was being awarded the 2018 AHFA Australian Colourist of the year. Coming from a very technically trained background, I have a flair for precision colour work but love catering and personalising every look to each individual client. A quote that really sticks with me in every aspect of my life is “life isn’t about finding yourself, life is about creating yourself” .
Kaitlyn Butler lived in Tasmania before relocating to Brisbane to work at Edwards & Co to work as a senior colourist, stylist and cutter. She has been in the hairdressing industry now for a total of 8 years. Kaitlyn completed her training at Devonport TAFE in Tasmania, but with continuous education days and seminars has furthered her skill set to perfect the Edwards & Co future proof colour look.
Kaitlyn has always always been an all rounder when it comes to colour but her true passion is blondes, bright and beachy or a natural low maintenance blonde. Being a blonde herself, she knows what it’s like trying different toners, products and colours, but most importantly she knows how important it is to feel confident in your stylist.
Whether or not it be a slick pony, some natural or glam waves, or a nice messy up style perfect for your weekend or big event – Kaitlyn loves finishing off her colours and trims with a nice natural wave or a style to suit you.
